I’m a soldier of
Christ my dear Savior and my Lord,
I will fight for Him, in the battle of the faith.
With my eyes placed on Jesus, my captain and my King,
As a soldier I’ll fight against the foe.

I know this very well: that this battle soon will end.
We will then reign with Christ in the heavens far away.
There will be no more grief, no more suffering and pain,
On that wonderful day of jubilation!
